Obituary - Maxine Beckham

Maxine's wishes were to donate her body to K.U. Medical Center for research. Memorial services are pending and will be announced at a later date.

Lula Maxine Beckham, age 96 of Butler, Missouri passed away at St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born March 17, 1917 to John Edgar and Delia Deller Ingram in Vernon County, Missouri.

Maxine is survived by two daughters, Glenda McClain of St. Louis, Missouri, and Kim Clements and husband, Bill of Prince George, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Beckham of Independence, Missouri; grandchildren, Shannon Martin and husband Jeff of Blue Springs, Missouri, Sharron Closson and husband Cal of Blue Springs, Missouri, Scott McClain and wife Jacqueline of St. Louis, Missouri, Vicki Benson and husband Matt of Overland Park, Kansas, Jeff Beckham of Olathe, Kansas, William Clements and wife Rachel of Prince George, Virginia and Robert Clements of Prince George, Virginia; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy in 2010; two brothers, John and Melvin Ingram; a sister Mildren Gordon; a son Victor Beckham; and a son-in-law, A.D. McClain.
