There will be a bake sale tomorrow (Saturday the 14th) starting at 10:30 in front of the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Butler or inside if there is rain. Wal-Mart was gracious enough to allow the Youth Group of Community of Christ Church to use the space for the Simm’s Family that lost their home and possessions on Wednesday Morning. A few of the items available will include: (all homemade) Nutella Fudge, chocolate peanut butter bars, brownies, chocolate pecan cookies, Boston cream cupcakes, and much more.
A donation account has been set up at Community First Bank under ‘Simms Fire Account’. Donations can be made there and bake sale contributions will be deposited there to help the family with gas, food, clothing, medical, and other expenses until they can get back on their feet.
