Obituary - Joe Page


Funeral services for Joe Page will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Mullinax Funeral Home in Butler, Missouri (660) 679-0009 with Father John Bolderson officiating. Visitation prior to services from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, or to St. Patrick’s Catholic School (Early Education Center). Joe Donald Page, 88 of Butler, passed away January 28, 2013 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler.
Joe was born August 2, 1924 in Appleton City, Missouri. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1942. Upon graduation, Joe moved back to the family’s farm.  He has lived in Butler from 1954 until his death.
Joe was a farmer and enjoyed hunting, as well as bulldozing. He particularly enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Joe married Beatrice E. Heiman on August 2, 1948; they have been married for 64 years. To this union, there were seven children: Mike Page and wife Barbara of Appleton City, Missouri; Patricia Johnson and husband Gene of Fort Scott, Kansas; Nancy Hedrick and husband Eddie of Butler; Jim Page and wife Sarah of Green Valley, Arizona; Jerry Page and wife Christine of Butler; Harley Page and wife Kori of Butler.  Joe also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Becky Jones, Michael Page, Jennifer Page, Seth Harold, Joseph Hedrick, Jordan Page, Chance Hedrick, and Devin, Austin, Drew, and Alli Page; as well as three great-grandchildren: Tristen Chadd, Megan Jones, and Alden Hedrick. 
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Winnie (Bennett) Page; a daughter, JoAnne Page, and grandchildren Scott and Jennifer Harold.
