Orven Dale Clark, 73 of Hume, Missouri passed away January 31, 2013 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dale was born October 6, 1939 in Barry County, Missouri, son of Glen and Fala (King) Clark. He served in the Vietnam War, and sang and played music for his fellow troops. Dale drove a truck for Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) for approximately 38 years. Music was a very big part of Dale’s life, and he founded the Country Western band, “The Dale Clark Four.”
Dale loved to tell jokes, and was very outgoing and willing to help whenever he could. In later years, Dale and Evelyn retired to their farm in Hume, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Clark of Hume; sons Michael Clark of Oak Grove, MO and Matthew and wife Megan Clark of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Deanna Rhodes of Jefferson City, MO; and daughter Natalie Pool of Raytown, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Talbert, and her children Teddy and Angie. He also leaves behind multiple grandchildren.
