Non-Profit Executive Director
The Community Food Pantry of Butler/Pantry Thrift Store is seeking an engaged, passionate and determined individual who will work with the volunteers and Board of Directors to inspire and effectively promote the organization’s mission.
Below are some of the responsibilities of the Executive Director:
Oversee the day-to-day operations, management and maintenance of the Community Food Pantry of Butler. Oversee the operation of the Pantry Thrift Store in conjunction with Pantry Thrift Store Manager.
Participate in screening and providing services to clients.
Carry out the programs, organizational and financial plans authorized by the Board of Directors.
Coordinate and communicate the mission of the Pantry to external organizations, including local, state and federal governmental agencies, other community service organizations and charities, local businesses and supporting churches.
Responsible for public relations, attracting, managing, retaining volunteers and fundraising efforts.
Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong administrative, accounting and organizational skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and QuickBooks
Excellent Work Ethic
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must have National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
