Weather Update: Hot And Humid Today And Thursday

A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect today and Thursday for Kansas City and surrounding areas. Expect highs in the middle to upper 90s and heat index values between 100 and 105 both days, with the hottest readings in the urban core of the city. Areas outside of the city will also be hot with heat index readings in the upper 90s to near 100. Be sure to take the proper precautions to protect yourself from heat illness.
