The Vernon County Sheriffs Office responded to a call of a vehicle that was stranded in high water Northwest of Nevada this afternoon.A rescue boat was brought in from the Vernon County Ambulance District and the passengers was safely removed from the water. Please remember to turn around and don't drown.
