Longtime Bates County Memorial Hospital employee retires after 45 years

After 45 years of combined service to Bates County Memorial Hospital, Judy Taylor was honored with a gift from the hospital in recognition of her retirement on November 3, 2015.

Judy began her employment in February, 1969 as a Transcription Clerk in the Medical Records Department, where she worked until January, 1976. In March, 1977, Judy came back to work at the hospital as a Utilization Review Clerk for the Nursing Department, where she has continued to work until her retirement.

Judy has seen tremendous changes in healthcare, health insurance, and technology throughout her years of service. Judy’s dedication and loyalty to the hospital will be greatly missed.

Judy plans to enjoy her “free” time with her family and friends, and perhaps some volunteer work in the future. Judy, and her husband, Tom, live in Butler.
