Linda grew up in Sedalia, and in 1979 she received her Certificate of Developmental Studies from Pioneer Community College. Later she settled in Harrisonville, Missouri where she raised her four children. Linda's home was a second home to many children in her life. She enjoyed being social and spent a great deal of time visiting with friends and family. She was often quick to make jokes, and made sure we all knew it was necessary sometimes to laugh at ourselves. She was very proud of her children. The largest joy in her life was playing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Trudy Tavis, and grandson Kurt Hobbs, Jr.
