Wheatland man charged with burglary in St. Clair County

On June 30, Troy Osborn, 41, Wheatland, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class B felony burglary-first degree and unclassified felony armed criminal action. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only.

The charges stem from an incident the previous day when St Clair County deputies responded to a burglary in progress on South 17th Street, Collins. 

During the investigation it was learned Osborn unlawfully entered a residence armed with three knives. The homeowner, Kimberly Aldridge, arrived home and found Osborn and a female inside her residence. There was evidence several items were gone through in the residence.

The female suspect, Michelle Terrell, 38, Wheatland, was also taken into custody and later released pending a formal charge.
