Arrangements under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com
Constance “Connie” Laverne Watters was born August 16, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Anna Bolke. She grew up in the Chicago area where she met her husband of 50 years, Lee Watters. Lee’s work with General Mills took them to Lodi, CA where Connie quickly developed a love for the area and the mountains. Connie also loved her jigsaw puzzles, often saying, they kept her mind sharp. She enjoyed helping others and socializing, making sure she always looked nice and that her make-up was always done. Life was good for Connie if she had her candy and soda pop.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Lee Watters, daughters Darlene and Linda, along with all ten of her siblings. She is survived by her son Ken Watters and wife Debra of Lodi, CA, daughter Patty Phillips and husband Dave of Eldorado Springs, MO, daughter Sandra Watters of Washington, eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
