Animal abuse investigation in Henry County

The Henry County Sheriff's Office has an animal abuse investigation currently in progress and is requesting the public's assistance in locating the owner(s) of the small dog pictured below.

He is a senior (over 10 years old), altered, mixed-breed, (male) terrier, between 20-30 pounds, and was found abandoned on SW 700, near the Deepwater area, on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Anyone who has knowledge of the dog's owner(s) or has information concerning this active investigation is requested to contact Henry County Central Communications at (660) 885-5587.
