St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Criminal summons issued for assaulting of a law enforcement officer

Amber Willis

On April 21, a criminal summons was issued for Amber Willis, 24, Osceola, charging her with a class A misdemeanor of assault/attempt assault of a law enforcement officer. The charge stems from an incident on April 20 when a St. Clair County deputy responded to a residence in Shady Acres Mobile Home Park, Osceola, to assist the Osceola Police Department with a fight in progress. Willis allegedly assaulted a deputy by kicking rocks onto his lower legs and ankles while the investigation was in progress. She was arrested and released after posting bond. Further court proceedings are scheduled for May 16.
