A Leawood, Ks. woman was seriously injured in an accident on 71 Highway at the Mound Branch bridge this morning. Around 9:30 a.m., a 1999 Toyota driven by Nicole E. Koehler, 25 was Northbound when the vehicle left the roadway, crossed the median and overturned on the West side of the Southbound lanes.
It is being reported that extrication was required to free Koehler from the vehicle. She was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
