Memorial services for Jim McLaughlin will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Rev. Chris Deines officiating. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Butler Public Library or American Heart Association.
Jimmy Lee McLaughlin, age 70 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born April 22, 1942 to James John and Vada Lee Pemberton McLaughlin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jim is survived by his wife, Margaret McLaughlin of Butler, Missouri; one daughter, Meredith Atherton and husband Brian of Kansas City, Missouri; and one sister, Janice Horn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents.
