Norma Lee Chambers-McVey |
Norma was born on February 24, 1937 in Appleton City, Missouri to Wilbur Lawrence Miller and Viola Williamson. She was united in marriage to Doug Chambers who passed in 2003 and later remarried to Glenn Eugene McVey who passed in 2015. Norma played the organ for the First Baptist Church of Deepwater for many years. She was a bird lover and particularly fond of cardinals. She loved to travel, play cards with friends, and enjoyed visiting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing games with them.
Among survivors are her daughter; Sherri Sue Rook (Dan) of Springfield, Missouri, daughter in law; Marilyn Chambers of Sedalia, Missouri, two grandchildren; Richard Lynn Chambers (Heather Renee) and Teresa (Teri) Renee Martin, three great grandchildren; Kinzer Douglas Chambers, Axton Luke Martin, and Karlie Jean Chambers, and nephew; Larry Dunning (Mildred), of Deepwater, Missouri.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Doug Chambers, and Glenn Eugene McVey, and her son; Bill.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, MO.
