Brad Davis of Butler, Shannon Gepford of MCI Financial, Nick Swietzer of Max Motors, Lance Sargent (the latest addition to the sports team), along with Rance Waite of Archie assisting with the announcing.
Arnold Hannah of Butler retired from sports announcing in 2009 but is a strong member of the Butler Bear Backers and the broadcast of games. Arnold announced your local football and basketball games for the past 32 years from the field of local schools in our area. His son Kirk began his sports announcing career at the age of 16 and is now the athletic director at Butler High School.

Jim Damon of Butler began his broadcasting career with FM-92 radio station over 30 years ago. His son James teamed up with his father at the age of 16 and he is now a pastor and a teacher but is still heard on FM-92 as a back-up sports announcer.
While Jim Damon has announced his retirement from sports announcing, he is still dedicated to our local schools and will be heard on the air when he is needed to fill for other announcers when they are unable to broadcast the games.
Our sports crew that announces play by play and color action for FM-92 have worked under some unbelievable conditions to bring you the game- sleet and snow to say the least, so you may listen in the comfort of your car or living room.
The FM-92 sports crew has followed over 62 area teams throughout the years traveling over 85,000 miles to and from games. We take this time to thank them for their loyalty and love of the game...without this crew, you would not have the convenience of hearing your favorite teams on radio.
Area businesses spend their advertising dollars to sponsor the local games, which helps to defray the expense of broadcasting games on the radio. Without them, production would not be possible.
Behind the scenes there are people making your broadcast possible that includes FM-92 employees Michelle Schroeder, sales manager, and dj Tracy Goodman whose job is to make sure the game gets on the air and that commercials play at the correct time.
Without all these people, you would not have local football and basketball games on radio. A tough decision is made at the beginning of each season as to which teams the sports crews will follow. We can only air one game at a time, so it's a tough decision and comes down to sponsors that support the production of games through their advertising dollars. Of course FM-92 airs playoff games and tournaments each season following the teams from an 8 county area.
We recognize and salute these people that dedicate their personal time and energy for the love of the game and support of athletes in our local schools.
Sincerely,
Management and Staff of FM-92 Radio Station, Butler Mo.
