An accident on southbound 71 highway just over a mile north of Passaic sent an Adrian man to the hospital with minor injuries just before 5 p.m. yesterday.
Clifford G. Polzin, 23, of Adrian was driving a 1993 Ford Bronco when a tire blowout caused him to lose control, strike an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn in a ditch on the right side of the roadway.
Cpl. Pate of the Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Adrian Fire Department first responders and the Bates County Sheriff's Department. The MSHP report indicates Polzin was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
