The voluntary rationing order for Rich Hill has been escalated to a mandatory order as of today, as issued by the city superintendent. The Rich Hill water plant cannot keep up with the demands due to the drought- usage is limited to cooking, personal hygiene, laundry and sewage. Absolutely no outdoor watering is allowed. There will be a $500 fine for anyone using water outdoors such as filling pools, watering gardens or lawns.
The order will be in effect until further notice.
