3 injured in wreck last night

Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County EMS responded to a 2 vehicle accident last night around 10:20pm at Missouri 18 Highway and I-49 in Adrian. The accident occured when the 2005 Nissan Sentra driven by Evan J. Overstreet 23, of Bentonville Arkansas failed to stop at the end of the off ramp and struck a 2001 Ford Thunderbird driven by Sabel B. Purtle 17, of Archie Missouri in the rear drivers side of the car. A passenger in Purtle car 17 year old Marcus A. Hawley along with Purtle recieved minor injuries and was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital by Ambulance. Overstreet was also transported by ambulance to BCMH with Moderate Injuries. Everyone was wearing a seat belt and both cars recieved extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Adrian Tire and Lube. This accident was worked by TPR Hamerle.
