On Friday Night December 20th, 2013 around 11pm the Butler Police Department was called to the Alley Bar on Chestnut Street to remove a patron from the business. Upon arrival the officers observed the male at the corner of Delaware Street and Walnut Street. When the officer attempted to make contact with the man when he took off running North on Delaware Street.
The Officer gave chase and a short foot chase ensued. The suspect was taken into custody in the 400 block of Havana Street. The male subject was identified as 21 year old Roy Love of Butler. The male subject was arrested and taken to the Bates County Jail.
