A local Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper in Zone 14,which serves the citizens of Bates County attempted to stop a green 90's model Chevrolet truck green/turquoise in color for a traffic violation yesterday afternoon. The driver failed to yield and a short pursuit ensued in Southern Bates County and on several county road before the Highway Patrol Trooper terminated the pursuit.
The driver has not been identified or apprehended at this time. The investigation to identify the driver in on going. If you have any information regaurding this please contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
