Funeral services for Ed Griffith will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Altona Cemetery, Altona, Missouri. Contributions to American Cancer Society or Altona Church.
Edward “Ed” Ray Griffith, age 64 of Adrian, Missouri died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born August 29, 1946 to Chester Maxwell and Hilda Pearl Addleman Griffith in Bates County, Missouri.
Ed is survived by his wife, Wanda Griffith of Adrian, Missouri; one son, Jeffrey Griffith and wife Kathleen of St. Robert, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Lesmeister and husband Scot of Butler, Missouri; three brothers, Richard Griffith of Adrian, Missouri, Fred Griffith and wife Martha of Atlanta, Georgia and Harvey Griffith and wife Rita of Butler, Missouri; three grandchildren, Matthew Griffith and Karson and Gracee Lesmeister. He was preceded in death by his parents.
