Situation over; subject in custody

A subject is in custody after a standoff that lasted more than 8 hours, which began around 3:30 p.m.  yesterday at a residence approximately 5 miles Northwest of Adrian. Exact details are unknown at this time; we will report further details as they are released from the Bates County Sheriff's Department.
