Obituary - Rick Bennett

Funeral services for Rick Bennett will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Darwin Bennett officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.

Richard Alan Bennett, age 63 of Overland Park, Kansas died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his home in Overland Park. He was born February 23, 1948 to Richard Deloff and Bonnie Mae Portwood Bennett in Butler, Missouri.


Richard is survived by his wife Pam Bennett of Overland Park, Kansas; two sons, Heath Bennett of Overland Park, Kansas and Justin Bennett and wife Tanya of Paola, Kansas; two sisters, Sheila Story of Warrensburg, Missouri and Kimberly Conyers of Amoret, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Shelbie and Kailie. He was preceded in death by his parents; an aunt, Shirley Hough; one brother, Ronald Bennett; and his stepfather, Donald Conyers.
