Huckster's Day October 1st

The Butler square will be packed with all types of family fun on Huckster's Day, Oct. 1st. Plan on spending the day, there's a full schedule:

Adult Co-ed tug of war at 1 p.m. - 1,300 lb team weight limit. Weigh in's will be Thursday, Sept. 29th at Heiman's Agri-Service 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. All teams must have at least two females. Winning team will receive custom t-shirts that show they have the 'most pull'. Teams must register by Thursday Sept. 29th at Medicalodge. For info call 660-679-3179.

Old-Fashioned Kids Games 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Bring the kids to the Northeast corner of the square to participate in Tug of War, Needle in the Haystack and Sack Races.

Chicken Fly Contest at 4 p.m. - Bring your favorite chicken (no roosters, please). The furthest flying chicken will net the owner $25 and a 50 lb bag of feed. Register by Friday, Sept. 30th at Medicalodge. For info call 660-679-3179.

Greased Pig Contest at 5 p.m. - Two rounds of Catch the Greased Pig with the winner receiving $25. Sponsored by Chad Anderson and Pork Plus.
