2 People Sent to Hospital In Morning Cass County Crash

Around 7:30am this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Cass County Sheriff's Department responded to a 1 vehicle accident in rural Cass County South of Pleasant Hill around the area of Route P and Purvis Road. 

The accident occurred when the 2003 Chevy Trailblazer driven by 35 year old Stephanie D. Lewis of Garden City Missouri was traveling West Bound lost control of the vehicle on ice covered roadway struck a ditch and overturned. Both Lewis and a passenger in the vehicle 16 year old Dakota  M. Lewis also of Garden City was transported by private vehicle to  Cass Regional Medical Center.
