Search warrant served on NW Hwy B

OnMonday,December16,2013justbefore4:00p.m.SheriffKentOberkrom,MajorRobHills,Cpl.AaronBrown,Sgt.BrianBiglerandDeputiesLeeHilty,ChaseJacksonandBradyGrahamexecutedasearchwarrantat786NWHwyB,Urich,Missouriregardingdrugsandfirearms.
Inthecourseofsearchingtheresidence,outbuildingandvehicles,deputiesseizedapproximately¼ounceofmethamphetamine,aswellasaquantityofmarijuana,drugparaphernalia,andseveralfirearmsincludingfirearmsthathadbeenmodifiedforhomemadesilencers. Inaddition,severalelectronicsurveillanceandmassstoragedeviceswerealsotakenasevidence.
ArrestedatthescenewasHarrisonL.Mills,age26,Urichon24hourinvestigationofpossessionofacontrolledsubstance,possessionofdrugparaphernaliaandpossessionofillegalfirearms. Anothermalesubject,whowaspresentattheresidenceatthetimeofthesearchwarrantexecution,wasquestionedandreleasedatthescene.
This investigation, which was initiated by Cpl. Aaron Brown, is part of an on-going investigation into drugs and firearm violations. Mills was incarcerated in the Henry County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
