On Monday, December 16, the Butler Fire Department and Butler Civil Defense met at the fire station for the annual Awards Banquet.

Rodger Cecil
Brenda Cecil
Civil Defense:
30 year: Jerry Phillips
Keith Cramer
Doug Wix
25 year: Everett McBrayer
The Firefighter of the Year was awarded to Jason Wix. The Firefighter of the Year is voted on by other members of the department.
