Nevada woman killed in Oklahoma traffic accident

On 3/27/17 around 9:30pm the Oklahoma State Highway Patrol was working a fatality accident on I-40 and the Will Rogers Turnpike when a vehicle struck the parked patrol cars.

The Oklahoma State Highway Patrol says the troopers' cars were hit while they were parked and the officers were treated for minor injuries at a Miami Oklahoma hospital and released.

The fatality accident involving three vehicles a semi truck, a Chevrolet Equinox and a Geo Prism, A passenger in a Geo Prism 31 year old Veronica Rose Blake of Nevada, Missouri was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. 


The driver of the car 28 year old Brittany Bradley of Richfield, Missouri sustained moderate injuries and she was transported to a Joplin, Missouri Hospital for treatment.

 Let this be a reminder to slow down when approaching emergency vehicles, and pay attention at all times.
