Quick Change Artist Strikes In Bates County

On 3/272017 at approx. 6:00pm A Hispanic male about 5"08 went into FoodFair and asked for change for several hundred dollar bills. The cashier was attempting to give him change for a few of the bills. 

After the cashier handed him $300 in change, he changed his mind stating he want to get change for all of $100 bills not just a couple of them. He then asked for his money back the cashier had already gave him 300 in cash for 3 of them. He then handed the cash back to her and she gave him his money back. After the subject left the store it was found that he had taken approx $140 dollars out of the change money she first gave him.

The investigation turned up that the same subject attempted the same tactic at the Cash Savers store in Butler but failed to the attempt.

Subject was driving this Silver/Gray 4dr passenger vehicle unknown license plates. Believe the subject had Continued south from Rich Hill.
