Meeting scheduled regarding nuisance wildlife control

As cute as they can be raccoons, opossums, beavers, badgers, skunks and other varmits can be a real problem for property owners that live within the city limits of our communities.

To help combat the problem, there will be a public town meeting that will cover measures to be taken to help deal with nuisance wildlife in these areas on Sept. 28th.

The meeting will be held at the Old High School gym in Butler and will be hosted by members of the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Butler Police Department. Guest speaker will be Todd Mease, Wildlife Damage Biologist.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. For more info, contact Agent Don Tiller at 660-679-6362 or the Butler Animal Control officer at 660-679-6131.
