| Darrell G. Barnett, Sr. |
He was born September 17, 1956 in Sparta, Mo., the son of Willie Floyd Barnett and Stella Maye (Warren) Barnett.
Darrell married Theresa Marie Boley on September 13, 1979 in Mexico, Mo., and she survives of the home.
He was a member of the Clinton Church of the Nazarene and the National Rifle Association. Darrell enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Michael G. Newell and his wife Janifer, Fordland, Mo., Doug E. Newell, Fordland, Mo., and Darrell G. Barnett, Jr., "D.J." and his wife Dana, Clinton, Mo; one daughter, Tashennia S. McCarty and her husband Jody L., Wright City, Mo; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Barnett, Louistown, Mo., and Wendel Barnett, Highlandville, Mo; one sister, Wanda Barnett, Nixa, Mo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Floyd Barnett.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Sparta Cemetery, Sparta, Mo.
