Butler makes big showing at TSA in Rolla

Butler High School was well represented at State TSA held in Rolla on April 23 & 24. The Butler students were competing against 600+ students. Listed below are the contests and the students that won.

Technology Bowl Oral: 4th out of 62 teams

Technology Bowl Written placed in top ten out 186 students

Extemporaneous Speech: 6th place

Students completing their TSA Leadership Degrees: Collegiate Level requires 3 years of participation and meeting specific requirements.
Individual: Justin Junge

Scholars Degree requires 4 years of participation and meeting specific requirements
Individual: Ian Apple
(This is usually earned in a student’s senior year but Ian accomplished this in his sophomore year)

TSA Chapter Advisor of the year: Mrs Neta Apple
She was nominated for this award by her students prior to this conference.

Mrs. Apple with the end of this conference has completed her term as MO TSA State Board of Directors President elect and assumes her duties as President of the Board for the upcoming year.
