The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 43 year old Lee V. Carter of Kansas City, Kansas was changing lanes when he lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a embankment and overturning.
Mr. Carter sustained moderate injures in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
