On 4/26/17 around 2:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle semi truck accident on Southbound I-49 around 3 miles North of Nevada, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Freightliner driven by 60 year old Jeffrey L. Trego of Roxbury, Kansas failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturning.
Mr. Trego sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
The truck was totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood's Wrecker of Nevada, Missouri.
