The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Ford F-150 driven by 64 year old Roosevelt Watson of Kansas City, Missouri swerved to avoid cattle in the roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the southside of the roadway, striking a fence and overturning.
Mr. Watson along with a passenger in his vehicle 87 year old Carl D. Stennis of Kansas City, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The vehicle receieved extensive damages and was towed from the scene by Adrian Tow.
