Wet Weather persists...

A cold front sweeping through the region last night will allow cool wet conditions to persist through today, with cool enough temperatures settling across the region late tonight and early Thursday morning to allow patchy frost to develop across parts of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri; generally in areas north and west of I-35. Temperatures will try to climb back up for Thursday and Friday, but more rain is expect late Thursday night into Friday morning, which will allow for a broad spread in temperatures from north to south. Areas near the Iowa border may struggle to get out of the 50s both Thursday and Friday, while central Missouri will likely have temperatures bound back to around 70 by Friday before cooler temperatures and more rain chances spread across the region for the weekend.
