One arrested for violating active full order of protection

On July 16, 2017 A Deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 1004 in Butler about a male subject attempting to enter the residence of a female subject who had an active full order of protection against him.

The female subject stated that her daughter told her that the male subject had arrived at the residence. The female locked the door but the male subject still had a key to the residence and gained entry to the house.

Once he made entry he reached his hands out to the female subject and moved towards her as if he was going to choke her. The female’s fiancĂ© yelled at the male subject and then he then left the house.

An Officer with the Adrian Police Department made a vehicle stop on the subject after he left the residence.

The male subject was then transported to the Bates County Jail and was put on a 24 hour investigative hold. Charges are pending at this time.
