One sent to hospital after accident in Cass County

On 7/14/17 around 6:45am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with assistance of the Peculiar Police Department responded to a one vehicle accident on Northbound I-49 at Mile Marker 168.2 in the Peculiar area.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Buick Century driven by 50 year old Shelia S. Mayden of Nixa. Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a unknown object.

Shelia S. Mayden sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The vehicle received moderate a damage and it was towed from the scene by GT Tow.
