New Butler business with something for everyone

On the south side of the square, nestled between Friedrich Law office and Town Square Hardware is Butler's newest business, The Clothes Closet. Owner Colleen Wells said that when she heard the building was available she knew it would be perfect- spacious, with hardwood floors, sconce lighting, an ornate tin ceiling and on the square-making it an ideal location for an upscale resale store.

And The Clothes Closet is just that- lots of big name brands, all in prime condition and neatly presented to customers. Most importantly, you'll find affordable prices, which Wells says is a must in today's economy. "I visioned opening an upscale resale store while offering everything as an affordable option to shoppers" said Wells, and that vision has been made real as of today.

There's over 3,500 items on display and more is ready to go, including women's, children's, plus size, men's clothing and more. You'll also find shoes, accessories and custom jewelry made by K.

Business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday's 9 to 1. Everyone is invited to stop by, have some coffee and say 'hi' any time.
