Maxine Ross, age 79 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born February 8, 1931 to Carl Lee and Evelyn Cleo Anglen Swann in Wyandotte County, Kansas.Maxine is survived by her son, Stephen Ross of Butler, Missouri; two brothers, Ernest Swann and wife Jean of Oak Grove, Missouri and Paul Swann and wife Joan of Butler, Missouri; and a sister, Clara Shaull and husband Scott of LaCygne, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester Ross; and one sister, Yvonne Walz.
