Kaitlyn C. Purtle, 17, of Drexel received moderate injuries in a single car accident in Cass County yesterday afternoon just north of 319th street on O highway. According to the report, Purtle was northbound when her 2005 Hyundai went off the right side of the roadway and over corrected, causing the vehicle to strike the ditch on the left side of the road, where it overturned.
She was transported to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment. Sgt. Bell of the Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Drexel Fire Department. The vehicle was totaled.
