Shackles sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment. The Pontiac was totaled and towed from the scene.

One car accident sends Adrian woman to hospital
A one car accident on Saturday morning at 9:33am on Route AA ½ mile west of County Road NW 261 sent Jamie Wackerman-Shackles to the hospital. Shackels, 39 of Adrian, was eastbound in a 2006 Pontiac when she lost control of the vehicle on a curve, overcorrected and then ran off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a ditch, overturned once and then came to rest on its wheels.
