Fairgrounds alive with BBQ buzz...

The Butler Chamber of Commerce BBQ contest at the Bates County Fairgrounds has a full day of activities on tap:

9 am - Kids Zone open
9 am - Duck, turkey and goose calling demonstrations
10 am - Car show begins
10 am - 5k run
11 am - Pumpkin carving
Noon to 1:30 - Turn in entries
2 pm - Hillbilly Hook-n-pull, Garden tractor pull
4 pm - Awards and crowning
8 to midnight - Live band
