The communities of Hume and Rich Hill came together Thursday, October 18 for the Hume Lady Hornets verses the Rich Hill Lady Tigers. The teams were dressed in the same shirts in honor of breast cancer awareness; the gym was adorned in pink. Pink roses were given to cancer survivors. It was also a night to help raise money for Troy Wehar and family. Several baked goods and various items were auctioned off with the expert auctioneering by Stacey Swickhamer and his assistance, Mr. Kenny Otto. There was also a silent auction with a bake sale. It was an awesome night and hats off to the two communities who gave so willingly. Our prayers continue to be with Troy and his family.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Josh Cooke on confirming the marriage vows on Saturday, October 20.
