Road closures to be in effect during dedication of historic site this Sat.

This Saturday, the Battle of Island Mound State Historic Site will be dedicated as a new state historic site in Bates County. The Missouri State Parks has requested that County Road NW 1002 be closed from the park entrance gate west to the intersection of N W 1002 and County Road 5001, south to County Road 5187 and intersection of County Road 1238. 

 
This is a one day event and these road closures will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
