Obituary - Curtis Shatto

Curtis C. Shatto, age 69, passed away October 28, 2012.

A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Curt worked as a millwork salesman for over 40 years. His was highly regarded for his architectural vision, attention to detail, and service to his clientele.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Carleen Shatto; daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and Tom Clark; two granddaughters, Courtney and Alicia Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Chuck Reeves (Marian), and their children, Holly Reeves and Chris Barnes and children, and Matthew and Lisa Reeves and children.

Curt was also loved and cherished by Carleen’s mother, Nita Habbena, nephew, Ryan Habbena, and Carleen’s siblings, Doug, Pat and Paula Habbena. He also had a special place in his heart for animals, and his 3 dogs and cat will miss his presence.

Curt passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, surrounded by his family and friends. Services will be a private family memorial.
