From Osage Valley Electric Cooperative

Photo #1
We are so happy and relieved to have our linemen back home safely from the Oklahoma Panhandle. Eight of our linemen went to the aid of Tri-County Electric Cooperative in Hooker, Oklahoma to help restore power to nearly 7,000 of their members after a devastating ice storm on January 15th.

With only a few hours’ notice, our linemen loaded up and headed out for the seven hour drive to Hooker. They spent the next eight days helping to rebuild some 70 miles of damaged power lines. The cooperative estimates they had over 1900 broken poles.

Thank you to Clinton Bennett, Tom Golder, Denver Lesmeister, Daniel Lewis, Jonathan Schussler, Stetson Shirky, Charles Stump and Scott Trammell for making the sacrifice to be away from your families to help restore power to those without. Thank you to the families for sharing your linemen!
