Norma was raised in Nevada and attended school here. She also lived in California at various times.
Norma was employed by 3M in Nevada for 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known for always being there for everyone in a time of need.
Survivors include three children, John Newton, Algoa, MO, Pepper Jacobs, Rich Hill, MO, Misty Brundridge, Rich Hill, MO; three step-sons, Chris Brundridge, IL, Jamie Brundridge, Nevada, Jason Brundridge, El Dorado Springs, MO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Files, Nevada; two sisters, Kathy Araujo, Riverside, CA, Dee Murphy, Nevada; numerous nieces, and nephews; and her “200” adopted children. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ronni “Cissy” Newton; one son, Mark Anthony Newton; and one sister, Mona Files.
